My name is Zoe, and I moved to Lakewood a few years ago with my husband. He’s from the area, but I’m not and I work from home so I don’t have many friends in the area that aren’t connected to my in-laws. I love them all dearly, but I want to make some friends on my own as well. 

I don’t know where to meet people however so I thought, hey, why not give a “blind friendship date” a shot?

Reasons I would make a good friend:

  • I am optimistic and enjoy life greatly

  • I genuinely find people interesting and would like to learn about you and your life

  • I can tell you obscure facts about Belgium (I lived there for 2 years) 

  • I have a dark sense of humor and will make you laugh with my twisted jokes 

  • I own an orange kitty cat that I’ll hold so you can pet her while she glares at both of us 

  • I have some low to mid-level Photoshop skills so I can make us cool art things or memes 

  • I love scifi and love to get into philosophical discussions that have no clear correct answer 

  • I like to look at things through multiple perspectives so I’m pretty good at helping people find clarity about stuff

What I am looking for in a friend:

  • Is also generally optimistic and enjoys life 

  • Wants to meet in person and do things (like go get coffee!) 

  • Ideally also likes philosophical discussions

  • Ideally into general spirituality (but definitely not required)

  • Likes to look at polarized topics from multiple perspectives (*insert xyz group* isn’t just “good” or “bad”)
